Our team is by far and away our most important asset at the Nursery, and we are delighted to have a fantastic team of passionate and wonderfully qualified Staff. Continuous Professional Development is encouraged and nurtured, with training provided both externally and in-house.

We  take great pride in ensuring our team are u-to-date and knowledge about all areas of child development, but we also want this to be a FUN place to work. We therefore love to surprise the gang with parties, wellbeing breakfasts and treats, and additional guests, from Yoga Instructors to helping our team achieve their health & lifestyle goals by arranging personal trainers and wellness groups.

All our team member are given personalised water bottles to ensure they stay hydrated during the day, as well as access to free fruit baskets (topped up each day), teas, coffees and a weekly cooked hot lunch. Alice joined Beech House as an apprentice.  She rose to Group Leader and then to Room Leader, as well as spending time as a child’s One:to:One support worker: hear about her journey with the Woodlands Nursery Group.

Lauren completed firstly her Level Two apprenticeship, and then her Level Three apprenticeship with the Woodlands Nursery Group.

Emily joined the Nursery Group as an apprentice, before moving on to do her Foundation Degree and Degree whilst working with us. She worked at both Beech House and Oak House, and is now Deputy Head of Oak House Nursery School.
